Battle Royale II' set a record for having TEN tie-in books released to coincide with the film's theatrical release, and that was down from the initial plan of 12 books. Great care was taken to give each book its own identity, with very little overlap in content. Many of these books are available at Amazon Japan.

Battle Royale II: Requiem by Kenta Fukasaku and McKoy Sugie (Ota Publishing): Ostensibly announced as the novelization of the movie, establishing once and for all that there was no second Koushun Takami book that the sequel was based upon. Order at Amazon Japan.

BR -> BRII Complete Guidebook (tentative title): like the Complete Guidebook released in conjunction with the first movie, this book will be a colorful visual "full report" on the sequel, PLUS updates on members of the original cast. Order at Amazon Japan.
